Xprotolab kit CH1 blocked

Hi,
Thanks for this great little device! I have just completed the assembly of the kit and did all the checks as indicated and all was fine....so I have started to use the unit.....I have the v1.8 hardware and have just updated it up to the latest firmware v1.80
The issue I have just noticed is that CH1 is stuck at 10.24V in meter mode...but CH2 works fine.....I have tried the restore 3 times....did the offset calibration twice and checked the AVR Microcontroller several times for shorts.....
Everything else seems to be working...-5;+5;+3.3 ........so at this stage I don't know where the issue could be arising from....
Tips to point me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated....

Thanks,
Regards,
Mark

Did CH1 work before?
Are you disconnecting the inputs before performing the calibration?
You can also try to connect the analog channels to ground before performing the calibration, to try to debug the problem.
It might be tricky, but you could try to use CH2 to detect problems on CH1. Get the schematic and try to follow the CH1 signal path, and scope with CH2.

I am not sure if CH1 worked before....
I am disconnecting the inputs before doing the calibration....
I will try connecting the ADC channels to ground...
And I will try using the scope on CH2 to find the issue but I will have to have a good look into how to complete that process...
Thank-you very much for the help.

Just out of interest....
When I do the offset calibration, the little graphing sequence only occurs on right hand side of the screen .....should it occur on both sides ?
Thanks.

Yes, you should see two independent graphs. The left side represents the calibration on CH1, the right side represents the calibration on CH2. If you don't see anything on the left side, then the signal is out of range. You should check the CH1 path for shorts or opens.
